Loveland Creates Snow Sculptures in the Dark
Have you ever tried to create a snow sculpture?
Building a sculpture out of snow is a lot harder than just putting together a snowman by stacking three large snowballs on top of each other. Artists involved in the Loveland Snow Sculpture competition last week displayed what can be created if you have the talent.
Despite warmer than expected temperatures, teams of snow sculptors managed to maintain their creations over several days in downtown Loveland, Colorado.
After dark, the snow sculptures were lit up with colored lights to make them even more impressive. The winning team at the Loveland competition will become Team Colorado to represent the state in 2015.
Here’s a picture of the winning sculpture with the artist included in the middle of it.
The next time we get fresh snow, see what you can create and post your pictures here.
