The other day we hit up the drive-thru at McDonald's to grab some happy meals to go. I wasn't planning on getting anything for myself until I noticed they have 'Mighty Wings' on the menu. The Mighty Wing is their take on a bone-in buffalo wing or spicy chicken wing. I'm a huge fan of buffalo wings so I had to at least try them. How could they possibly hold up to the rest of the buffalo wings I've tried in the past?

As it turns out, they're not that bad! I don't like saucy wings and these wings have the spices and flavor all in the breading so you're not constantly looking for a napkin or getting buffalo wing sauce all over your face.

Although I like spicy food, these are probably a bit too spicy for the average McDonald's patron so keep that in mind.

I don't remember how much I paid for them, exactly, but I remember they were a little overpriced for a buffalo wing. Then again, I ordered the smallest amount. I'm sure you save more if you order more, but I just wanted to try them.

Will I buy these again? Probably not and, because they're a limited time, it might be the last time I see these. Although I was pleasantly surprised that they were a decent, legitimate buffalo wing, I applaud McDonald's effort and look forward to what ever they may come out with next.
