The peers of craft beers. There's a lot of them. Literally, there are hundreds of craft breweries in Colorado. As I write this Colorado.com reports there are over 400 breweries in our beloved state and that we have "the fourth most breweries per capita in the U.S."  Northern Colorado's Odell Brewing recently won a favorites contest voted on by their peers.

The survey (contest) was done by Colorado Brewery List. They have a really up-to-date and easy-to-use website that touts they'll help you "Find Every Colorado Brewery. Discover Every Colorado Beer." They have a map and list of every brewery including cideries and meaderies, news including upcoming breweries, and an overall organized way to learn what's brewing. That was me, not them.

The huge peer survey was sent out to every Colorado brewery. The survey asks questions about the industry and "who among the other breweries in Colorado are their personal favorites". Odell Brewing Company won this year and last year and the year before that and well, every year since 2017 when the category was created.

I get it. I have always said Odell Brewing is my favorite. I have been in Northern Colorado for over 20 years. 90 Schilling and Easy Street got me hooked on craft beer and having the chance to work alongside Odell employees throughout my career helped me connect to the quality behind the brand. We had 5 Barrell served at our wedding.

A regional brewery as defined by The Brewers Association is breweries "producing more than 15,000 barrels a year while large are those that are owned by ABI or Coors."

Congratulations to Odell Brewing Company for once again being chosen as the favorite Colorado regional-sized brewery!
