Pair Arrested For Shots Fired

Two 23 year old Cheyenne men are facing misdemeanor charges of reckless endangerment in connection with shots fired early Saturday morning.

No one was seriously injured in the incident.

The incident is believed to be alcohol related. The men are Jerel Rote and Simon Vazquez. The incident occurred around 4 a.m. in the 700 block of West Prosser Road.

One of the bullets passed through the wall of a trailer and grazed the arm of 56 year old Arthur Apodaca, but he was not seriously injured and didn't go to the hospital.

A third man who may have also been involved in the incident has so far not been arrested, according to police.

Investigators say there had also been reports of shots fired earlier, resulting in no known injuries,
