PD Again Offering Citizen’s Police Academy

The Cheyenne Police Department will kick off the next edition of the Citizen’s Police Academy on May 9th, according to police spokesman Sgt. Rob Dafoe. He says the Citizen’s Police Academy is a condensed version of the training Cheyenne Police Officers receive before they hit the streets, and covers topics ranging from traffic enforcement to narcotics. Dafoe says this will probably be the last edition of the academy until this fall. People can get more information or register at cheyennepd.org.
