When Eddie Vedder isn't on the road or in the studio with Pearl Jam, there's a good chance you'll find him rooting on his beloved Chicago Cubs. Last night, Vedder was in the locker room celebrating the Cubs win over Pittsburgh in the National League Wild Card game.

Vedder joined Cubs players as they doused each other with champagne. Like many long suffering Cubs fans, Vedder has been waiting his entire life for a World Series ring. The Pearl Jam singer has performed the Seventh Inning Stretch at Wrigley Field several times. He also wrote a song in honor of his favorite team titled "All the Way".

Unfortunately, Vedder won't be able to follow the Cubs to St. Louis on Friday, when they kick off the National League Divisional Series playoffs versus the Cardinals. Last night, Vedder told reporters that he'd love to be there, but "I have kids and a job. I’ll be in Chicago!"
