Prescription Drug Take Back Day Saturday

The Cheyenne Police Department will be taking donations of unused prescription drugs as part of national Prescription Drug Take Back Day Saturday.

Officer Dan Long says people can drop off any unused prescription drugs in a drop-off box located in the police station on Capitol Avenue, no questions asked. The drop-off is for prescription drugs only, not street drugs such as meth or cocaine.

Anyone who is not able to drop off their prescription drugs Saturday can still put them in the drop-off box during regular business hours Monday though Friday.
