Chuck Geiger, Townsquare Media[/caption]Did you forget or get too busy to cook out and still want to. Make these quick and easy Chicago-style hot dogs on the grill and relax. Serve with potato salad and boom. Mine is a variation on the Chicago-style theme.

You will need to saute or caramelize onions and yellow, orange and green bell peppers in a pan. Put them in a container and hold til the dogs are ready. Cut up some fresh tomato's and put aside. Take a package of any hot dogs, preferably Nathans, Hebrew National or Ball Park Franks and grill to a nice plumping begins. Warm up your buns on the grill.

Grab your buns (not literally) and stuff them with the dogs and spoon the onions and peppers over the dogs, add the sliced tomatoes and dill pickles and you are good to go. Add your favorite condiments. My recipe doesn't include sweet relish or peppers.
