Actor Bob Denver passed away 10 years ago today September 2, 2005, but will always be our Little Buddy, Gilligan.

Robert used to teach mathematics, history and Physical Education in a catholic school before he started acting.

He got his 1st acting job in The Many Loves Of Dobie Gillis in 1959 but became famous in the mid 60s for his starring role in a show about the 2nd most famous shipwreck in history, that washed ashore on Gilligan’s Island.

Bob was a great guy, demanding acting credit on the opening sequence for The Professor (Roy Hinckley) and Mary Ann (Dawn Wells) and publicity to get Dawn matched up  with actress Tina Louise.
