ROCKIES LOSE 6 IN-A-ROW, TULO STARTS REHAB ASSIGNMENT

The Colorado Rockies have now lost 6 games in a row. Last night the Oakland A's beat the Rockies. 8-5.  I don't know about you, but it's getting kinda tough to keep rooting for them? Going into the game, Oakland had the worst offensive team in all of baseball with a .220 batting average.  The Rockies are 0-7 in interleague play with all 7 losses coming at home. The Rox and A's play at Coors Field again tonight. The game is at 6:40 on Root Sports.

TULO STARTS REHAB ASSIGNMENT

Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki will begin an injury rehab assignment today at Triple-A Colorado Springs. Tulo hasn't played since May 30th because of a left groin strain.  He took early batting practice and fielded ground balls off the bat on Tuesday before the Rockies' game against the Athletics.  Tulowitzki was hitting .287 with eight home runs and 27 RBIs over 47 games so far this season.

ROCKIES TRADE PITCHER FOR CASH

The Rockies have traded right-hander Esmil Rogers to The Cleveland Indians for cash. Rogers went 0-2 with an 8.06 ERA in 23 appearances for Colorado this season.
