Roundabout Construction at Converse and Pershing Begins

Do your daily travels take you through the Converse and Pershing intersection?

Construction on the roundabout at that intersection near Cole Shopping Center began on Monday, April 15, and isn't expected to be completed until November 15.

The closure affects traffic on Pershing Boulevard, Converse Avenue and East 19th Street.

City of Cheyenne traffic technician Steve McDonald suggests using Windmill Road, Ridge Road or College Drive as alternatives for north-south travel. For east-west routes, he says East Lincolnway, Dell Range Boulevard and Storey Boulevard are good alternatives.
