In accordance with yesterday's annual observance of  'National Star Wars' day, a man using the moniker Boss Vader has released a new song parody for charity to honor the iconic character Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Set to the tune of the classic Bruce Springsteen song 'Bobby Jean', 'Obi-Wan' depicts Darth Vader's struggle between the force and the dark side. The man behind the Boss Vader mask is also the curator of a Bruce Springsteen fansite Backstreets.com and works as the vice principal of a public school in Philadelphia.

Boss Vader is distributing a digital version of 'Obi-Wan' via iTunes and Amazon.com and plans to split all of the proceeds evenly between George Lucas' favorite charity Edutopia.org and one of Springsteen's favorite causes WhyHunger.org.
