After a slow start, the offense came on late in the second quarter and then controlled the second half for a 92-60 win over the defense in the Wyoming Cowboys Spring Game Saturday at War Memorial Stadium. It was the finale of the 15 practices the Cowboys are permitted in the spring, which began March 26th.

The Wyoming Cowboys conducted their second spring practice on Wednesday morning with the emphasis continuing on fundamentals and increasing the pace of practice. Head Coach Dave Christensen announced his fifth recruiting class at Wyoming on Wednesday. The 2013 class is composed of 11 recruits on offense, 11 on defense and 1 special teams recruit. The signees include 15 high schooler, 7 junior college transfers and 1 walk-on who was awarded a scholarship.

University of Wyoming head football coach Dave Christensen announced Thursday the addition of five new mid-year scholarship players to the program. The five new Cowboys include two student-athletes who graduated early from high school to enroll at UW for the 2013 spring semester and three junior-college transfers. They bring Wyoming’s total of mid-year transfers to nine. Four mid-year transfers were early announced on December 19, 2012. The five new players include two defensive lineman, a linebacker, a tight end and a running back.
