Cheyenne East High Graduate Wins The Academy Award

Have you ever wanted to win an Academy Award?

A Cheyenne East High School graduate picked up an Oscar last night at the 84th Annual Academy Awards.

Daniel Junge and Sharmeen Obaid- Chinov won the Best Documentary (short subject) trophy for 'Saving Face.'

The documentary focuses on the more than 100 people attacked with acid every year in Pakistan, most of them women. 'Saving Face' will air in early March on HBO.

Cheyenne International Film Festival at the Atlas Theatre [VIDEO]

Do you love movies? If you do, this event is just the thing for you, 47 films will be screened May 19-22 in downtown Cheyenne.

The Cheyenne International Film Festival begins today through the weekend at the historic Atlas Theatre. Tickets for most events are $10, some are free, while the opening and closing night $30.
