Wyoming’s Stage Stop Sled Dog Race Begins Friday in Jackson

Have you ever raced a dog sled?

23 teams of sled dogs will race 350 miles through 4 states starting Friday, January 25, in Jackson, Wyoming.

It's the 18th annual International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race that will stop in 8 Wyoming locations on the way to the finish line in Evanston on February 2.

Fashioned after the Tour de France bicycle race, the teams compete during the day and rest overnight in different cities along the route. Stops this year include Jackson Hole, West Yellowstone, Pinedale, Lander, Big Piney and Kemmerer.
