Two teenagers were arrested in a drug bust north of Cheyenne Sunday night.

A Wyoming Highway Patrol trooper was manning a road closure gate at mile post 33 on U.S. Highway 85 due to flash flooding, when a car sped around the gate.

The trooper stopped the vehicle and found over a half a pound of marijuana, three grams of cocaine and 30 grams of mushrooms.

Two juveniles, ages 16 and 17, were arrested and have been charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and felony distribution of a controlled substance.

It was determined that the drugs were headed from Fort Collins, Colorado to Scottsbluff, Nebraska.

The follow up investigation has been turned over to the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.
