Thankful Thursday: Alzheimer’s Association

Last Thursday, we raised $5,600 for Relay for Life Team 1968, now we’re raising money for Alzheimer’s Association at Thankful Thursday at the Redwood Lounge THIS Thursday!

The Alzheimer’s Association’s mission is to continue to fight a disease that effects so many, not just those who have this debilitating disease, but also their families taking care of them.  The Alzheimer’s Association is committed to finding a cure through vital research, and offers essential support programs and services for both victims and families who are dealing with Alzheimer’s.

We’re down to 86 Coors Light aluminum bottles, all with prizes, 4 of them with $500!  Diane from Underwood Flowers and Gifts, one of our Thankful Thursday sponsors, won $250 for knowing the “Central Bank and Trust Thankful Thursday Word of the Week,” so that means we’re starting over with your shot to win $100!

All you have to do is stop by Central Bank and Trust at 3060 East Lincolnway (just down the street from the Redwood Lounge), and get the word of the week. If we draw your number, and we ask you what that word is, you’ll be taking home $100.

There’ll be all sorts of great auction items with proceeds going to Alzheimer’s Association.

The fun gets started at 4:30 p.m. and there’s NEVER a cover! Just come in with your friends and co-workers, have a few drinks when you’re done with the workday, possibly win some money, all while raising money for a great organization.  We’ll see you there!
