Underpaid at $174,000, Congress Needs A Raise

Living like a pauper? Say it ain’t so!

Virginia Congressman Rep. Jim Moran, D-Va., says you can’t get by on $174,000, and that members of Congress need a raise.

“Members of congress are underpaid,” “I understand it’s widely felt that they underperform,” “a lot of members can’t live decently when they’re at their job in Washington.”

They are not getting much done, but need more of our money? If they were performance based, they should be minimum wage, but they get massive paychecks and a long list of major perks.

With a 78% disapproval rating, these politicians are more like diapers than ever. They should be changed often and for the same reason.
