This Saturday, December 1, Wyoming takes on Colorado University at home. CU is ranked #19 and this is shaping up to be a great game, another border war game if you will.

As an added bonus, one of Wyoming’s all time greats will be honored during half time.

Kenny Sailors was recently inducted to the National Collegiate Hall of Fame. He lead the Cowboys to the 1943 NCAA championship game while being named player of the year that season. Sailors, who turned 91 on Jan 14th, and his former coach Everett Shelton are the only two representatives from the great state of Wyoming to be in the National Collegiate Hall of Fame. Shelton was inducted into the inaugural class in 2006.

Looking forward to watching our Cowboys take on the Colorado Buffs this Saturday at 8 p.m.

Here are some stats from Wednesday's game against UC Santa Barbara, which the Cowboys won, getting them to their first 7-0 start since the 1969-70 season. Luke Martinez scored 17 points, and Larry Nance, Jr. and Derrious Gilmore each scored 12 points for Wyoming.
Alan Williams scored 11 points and grabbed nine rebounds before fouling out to
lead the Gauchos (2-4). Kyle Boswell scored 10 points for UCSB. Wyoming scored the first six points Wednesday night but the Gauchos came back to take a 7-6 lead.
The Cowboys scored the next nine points and never trailed after that.
