The U.S Travel Association’s 2012 Vote Travel Bus will make a stop in Cheyenne on Friday April 6th. The Vote Travel Bus Tour began in Washington D.C. on March 21st. at the U.S. Travels Get America Moving reception.

The 20,000 mile tour has included rallies  in selected cities, as well as meetings with local elected officials and industry leaders. Diane Shober, head of the Wyoming Office of Travel  and Tourism says it’s a way to highlight the impact travel and tourism has on the economy.

The association says travel contributes $1.9 trillion dollars to the U.S.  economy and supports over 14.4 million U.S.  jobs. The vote travel bus will be at the Cheyenne Depot Plaza on Friday April 6th, from 4 to 5 p.m. Shober encourages people to stop by and find out more about the Vote Travel Tour.
