On Sunday, the Cameron Peak Fire  Facebook page shared an update on the fire suppression repair effort.

Information Officer Mike De Fries went to the Red Feather Lakes area to meet with Resource Advisors on the next phase of fire suppression.

Resource Advisors are using what they describe as a "chainsaw on steroids" which delimbs, measures the length of, cuts and moves compromised tree trunks within a few seconds.

These logs will soon be available to the highest bidder.
