The weather’s changing, and soon we’ll see the leaves on the trees changing into those beautiful fall colors, but where's a good place to see those fall colors in Wyoming?

My husband and I were on the verge of moving to Wyoming during the fall of last year, so this is going to be our first fall season in the Cowboy State, to celebrate our favorite time of year.  I absolutely love fall, the weather’s a little crisper and those leaves turn to those beautiful shades of red orange and yellow.

My husband and I usually treat ourselves to a beautiful fall drive every year, and we usually know where to go in Colorado.  Taking a drive to Estes Park is especially fun in the fall, and the drive through Rocky Mountain National Park and up to Trail Ridge Road is breathtaking with all the Aspen trees changing color.

We’re now on a quest to find the beautiful “Fall spots” in Wyoming to check out this year.  My friend Chimine said if we wanted to see some of that beauty without having to drive too far, take the short drive out to Veedavoo,Wyoming, which is in between Cheyenne and Laramie. We’ve seen it in the summer, but would love to take that drive in the fall.

Jackson Hole, Wyoming is also said to be a place of “fall beauty,” although everything I hear about Jackson Hole, is that it’s beautiful all year round with those majestic mountains and scenery that surrounds them.

What  “fall spots” in Wyoming do you like to see the beautiful fall colors?
