KGAB News has received a statement from Black Hills energy reporting the outage was frist recorded at 3:40 p.m.

STATEMENT FROM BLACKHILLS ENERGY

"Black Hills Energy is experiencing an electrical outage in Cheyenne in the area of Converse Avenue and Dell Range Boulevard.Severalnlocal businesses are affected. Please use caution if traveling in this area.

Black Hills crews are on scene and working to resolve the issue so power may be restored. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available."

Widespread power outages reported on Dell Range Blvd. in Cheyenne. Businesses are closing as the outage persists. We have received reports that Cheyenne Police Department are directing traffic.

The outages are reported to be impacting traffic lights. The outages is confirmed by Black Hills Energy as of 5:21 p.m.
