Wyoming Not Ready For Summer
Not that you would know it by the weather, but it’s Tuesday, May 17, 2016 and there was snow on the ground, and on this motorcycle, as I left for work at 4:15 am. As I took this picture the rain was coming down lightly and melting what snow had accumulated on the ground since late yesterday afternoon.
A check of Wyoming roads showed mostly wet conditions and nothing to be overly concerned about.
So we’re into a kind of cold, Seattle like morning with fog, drizzle, mist and rain and will see us with a high in the mid 40's today. The sun will occasionally peek out tomorrow and be back for a bigger and better appearance and Mother Nature will be acting more like Spring later this week. Oh wait, this is Wyoming, she’s already acting like Spring.
