Wyoming's three Republican electors cast their ballots for Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney during a ceremony at the governor's office Monday. Elector Ron Micheli of Fort Bridger says while some are calling for abolishing the electoral college in favor of deciding the presidential race by popular vote, he believes the it is necessary to protect the rights of smaller population states. While President Obama was re-elected, Romney won Wyoming by almost 69 percent of the vote. The other two electors were Susan Thomas of Casper, and Margaret Parry of Rock Springs.
