This past Thursday, Dairy Queen in Cheyenne participated in the "DQ Miracle Treat Day."   The result:  $3,800 raised for Children's Miracle Network.

Thanks to you, Dairy Queen on Pershing Boulevard was BUSY whipping up those tasty Blizzards for Miracle Treat Day, with several offices around Cheyenne calling in their orders ahead of time, knowing that not only would they enjoy these treats, but enjoy knowing that the proceeds would benefit Children's Miracle Network, who help 170 hospitals, and countless families around the nation, including right here in Cheyenne.

Many of you came out to Dairy Queen, including Shamin, who enjoyed a tasty Blizzard, while her Saint Bernard Bandit, also enjoyed a tasty DQ treat.  The staff at Dairy Queen were amazing, taking all the Blizzard orders, getting them all whipped up, and even serving them to the tables.   They worked hard, and their efforts certainly paid off!

This day was especially important to Randy Philbin, proprietor of the Dairy Queen on Pershing Boulevard.  Several years ago, his son was taken to Children's Hospital in Denver, one of the many hospitals that receive help from Children's Miracle Network.  He personally knows what it's like for families who are dealing with a child who's sick, and knows what an impact Children's Miracle Network has in helping these families.

Thanks again for coming out to Miracle Treat Day, and making miracles happen for families who count on our support, and count on Children's Miracle Network!
