Wyoming restores it's rivalry with BYU next Wednesday, December 21 in the Poinsettia Bowl.

The two schools haven't played in six years, and the Cowboys haven't defeated the Cougars since 2003.

Wednesday's game will be on ESPN Television and kicks at 7:00 p.m. MST.

Wyoming has had one of their best seasons in recent memory, entering the bowl game at 8-5 overall. The season is thanks in large part to stars like running back Brian Hill, quarterback Josh Allen, safety Andrew Wingard, and others.

You know those guys are key players in the final matchup of the season, but here's a few more names you should keep an eye on if the Pokes are going to be successful...

    Austin Conway

    Wide Receiver/Return Specialist

Just a freshman, Conway is a dangerous weapon both offensively and on special teams. If Conway gets the smallest bit of space, he can out-run almost anyone. A big special teams return could help the momentum of this game!

    Ethan Wood

    Punter

Nobody likes to see their punter on the field, but Ethan Wood has been a big weapon for Cowboy football. The senior could have a dramatic impact on this game by helping Wyoming's field position.

    Rico Gafford

    Cornerback

The Junior College transfer has meant a lot to this year's Pokes team. Gafford has recorded several big plays including some key interceptions. Wyoming will need to create a few turnovers to beat BYU.

    Logan Wilson

    Linebacker

Arguably, Logan Wilson has been the best defensively player this season and that shows through his stats. The Casper native is just a freshman, but it will be critical he has a good game Wednesday.

    Chase Roullier

    Center

Offensive linemen rarely get credit, but Cowboy fans need to take a second and recognize what this senior has done. After spending the last two years as one of the conference's best left guard's, he transitioned to center this season and has been flawless. Roullier has a solid chance at playing on Sunday's next year.
