Cheyenne is surrounded by some unique towns with a charm all their own and are fun to visit. Saturday, July 11th, is a perfect day to take a little drive northeast of Cheyenne on Wyoming 216 to the town of Albin and help them celebrate the founding of their town at the 87th annual Albin Day!

The day is filled with fun activities including the FFA Breakfast at the Fire Hall from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., then you can enjoy this year’s Albin Parades with this year’s theme being “American Pride.”  The Children’s parade kicks off at 9:30 a.m., followed by the youth and adult parade at 10am.

They’ll have some fun competitive races following the parade at Ball Diamond, Bingo from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the Community Center, arts and crafts show, great food including a Chuckwagon Supper, a 1 pitch softball tournament, a night show and so much more.
