George Carlin ranks among the greatest comedians of all time. His social commentary inspired generations of misanthropes and malcontents across the world.

To celebrate what would have been his 80th birthday, let's relive a legendary Carlin monologue about the great state of Wyoming.

One of the many subjects Carlin addressed on his 1996 album "Back in Town" was prison reform and, particularly, his idea to fence off the entire state of Wyoming to house sex offenders.

Of course, Carlin was famous for his love of profanity. The following clip is crude, filthy, off color, tasteless, vulgar and definitely not "safe for work".
