A muddy party zone and a few raindrops weren't enough to spoil this year's big rock show at CFD. Aerosmith took the stage around 9 p.m. with "Back in the Saddle", which set the tone for a hit filled, career spanning two hour set.

After the opening song, the band launched into "Love In An Elevator", "Cryin", "Jaded", "Last Child", "Livin' On the Edge', and "Toys in the Attic". One of the highlights of the evening came when Steven Tyler joined Joey Kramer's drum solo, keeping the beat on a pair of bongos while the capacity crowd roared its approval.

The second half of the show featured "Rag Doll", "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing", "No More, No More", "Dude Looks Like a Lady" and "Walk This Way" along with two covers, a rockin' version of Fleetwood Mac's "Stop Messin' Around" and the Beatles "Come Together". After a short intermission, the band returned to the stage for an encore, which included "Dream On" and "Sweet Emotion".

In spite of Steven Tyler's recent foray into country music, the band was all about the rock on this night. Tyler's voice was in vintage form and Joe Perry's signature solos echoed throughout the arena on CFD's new and improved sound system. Guitarist Brad Whitford even dressed for the occasion, wearing a black cowboy hat, vest and neckerchief.

Here's some more pictures from the show.
