As If We’re Surprised! Wyoming Ranks As A Top State To Live
Wyoming is an awesome to state to live in across the board. It's not overly populated, crime is pretty low and if you work here, we don't have a state income tax, which is really nice, like thousands of dollars staying in your paycheck nice.
Now the word is out and we really shouldn't be surprised. The website Wallethub named Wyoming one of the best states in the country to live in.
It's funny, looking at the list, we fall short on a few of their metrics that include restaurants per capita, and average hours worked(meaning we work too much, surprised?). But we do so well on other metrics like the percentage of people 25 and over with at least a high school diploma, and affordability, we surged up their list.
How does Wyoming rank as a top state to live?
In this particular research, Wyoming came in 8th. If you're wondering if any of our neighboring states turned up as well, Idaho was the only other state to beat us, coming in 4th. Montana came in 19th on the study and Colorado came in 20th. Finally, Colorado didn't do as well in one of these studies!
What do you think? Do you think Wallethub got it right? Are we one of the top states to live in in the country? If you ask me, absolutely, but you can go back and forth if you want. I just like to think that living here is different and you have to like the way of living for you to be comfortable living here. All you have to do is get used to the dang wind!
