As You Get Ready To Head To The Polls In Cheyenne, So Are Hackers [Video]
Tuesday, November 8 is the big day for voters to head to their polling centers and cast their votes for who they think will do the best job. Well, hackers my be out too.
It may not be a problem in Wyoming, but in other parts of the country the Department of Homeland Security have found, what they are calling, vulnerabilities with voting machines in 20 states across the nation.
Cris Thomas, who is with Tenable Network Security, a cyberspace company based in Maryland noted that the machines have shown some vulnerability.
Some machines were purchased in 2000 and are over 15 years old.
A couple of Princeton computer scientists have successfully hacked into an electronic voting machine in a mere moments recently.
In Wyoming, if you have any questions concerning voting machines, you may contact Wyoming Secretary of State Office and they can answer any and all of your concerns.
