Bigfoot Photographed In Northern Colorado?
Bigfoot, or Sasquatch is generally accepted to be an ape-like creature, a wrongly identified animal (think black bear) or a hoax. Over the years, there have been alleged sightings on every continent except Antarctica, and mainly in America’s Pacific Northwest. Now, there's one closer to us.
Recently, Denver’s Fox31 ran a story about a new photograph from Jeff and Theresa Yelek that is said to have been taken in the North Park area of central Colorado. The North Park Visitors Bureau bills North Park as “a great place to get away for a weekend from the hustle and bustle of the city!” That might explain the sighting. Even Sasquatch needs some ‘me time.’
The Route National Forrest around Steamboat Springs and Walden provide plenty of space to roam and not be seen in this sparsely populated basin of the Rocky Mountains. But there have been other sightings and photographs. In the Silverton Bigfoot Museum in Southwestern Colorado hangs this photo that could be one of the illusive creatures or a man in a parka. You decide.
I love a mystery, and I like to believe that there are unexplained creatures, things and events that we have yet to discover and/or explain. What do you think? I think I like to get people thinking of possibilities.
Here in Wyoming, Rocky Mountain Sasquatch Organization posted a video of a Bigfoot Sighting West of Cody Wyoming in 2014. There’s also the flaky story of two guys shooting a Bigfoot south of Jackson Hole in 1968.
