Casper Selected as Best St. Patrick’s Celebration in Wyoming
Where do you plan on getting your green on this weekend?
The luckiest day of the year is just about here. While some people will be staying in and enjoying some corned beef and cabbage, many will be throwing on everything green and heading out to celebrate. The best part about this holiday is that you don't have to be Irish to join the party.
So where are you headed?
Recently a website called Cheapism put together a list of Best St. Patrick's Day Celebration in Every State. Although it doesn't seem like there is a lot of extensive research that went into this list, it's still fun to take a look at what others deem entertaining in our state. For Wyoming, Casper takes center stage.
Each year, Casper hosts a St. Patrick's Day celebration at David Street Station. There is plenty of green beer, activities for the entire family, and entertainment from the Casper Professional Firefighters Pipes and Drum band and the Richens/Timm Irish Dance Group. Guest can also dine on corned beef, potatoes and cabbage.
