Did you know you can watch some rodeo events for free at CFD?

There are so many contestants competing in 'The World's Largest Outdoor Rodeo' that some events are held early in the morning at the Frontier Park arena for free to take up the slack.

The first slack event will be barrel racing on Tuesday, July 15, starting at 10 a.m. The rest of Cheyenne Frontier Days, slack will begin at 7 a.m. and will feature a variety of rodeo events.

  • Tie-down Roping-Wednesday and Thursday, July 16 and 17
  • Steer Roping-Thursday and Friday, July 17 and 18
  • Steer Wrestling-Monday and Tuesday, July 21 and 22, also Thursday and Friday, July 24 + 25
  • Team Roping-Monday and Tuesday, July 21 and 22, also Thursday and Friday, July 24 + 25
