The City of Cheyenne and Cheyenne Frontier Days have announced the schedule of events for the July 4, 2017, Independence Day Celebration at Frontier Park in Cheyenne.

All events, as well as parking, will be free to the public.

2 p.m.-Car Show and Food Trucks

3:30 p.m.-Gunslinger Performance

4:30 p.m.- Hot Dog Eating Contest

5:30 p.m.-Gates Open

6 p.m.-Performance by Strolling Strings

6:30 p.m.-Performance by Local Youth Talent

7 p.m.-Welcome & Introductions

7:15 p.m.- Performance by Country Club Band

9:30 p.m.-National Anthem and Colors

9:35 p.m.-Fireworks

Possession and use of most fireworks except for sparklers, smoke devices, and some novelty items is illegal in the City of Cheyenne. Violators can face a $225 fine and confiscation of the fireworks.
