A 35-year-old Cheyenne man could face up to 30 years in prison for allegedly abusing the mother of his unborn child.

Court records accuse Bryan J. Presbury of pulling a knife on his pregnant girlfriend, biting her, dragging her with his car, stabbing her, dragging her down stairs, punching her and strangling her.

The incidents are alleged to have occurred between July 14-22.

Police say the woman told them that Presbury kept accusing her of cheating on him, something she denied.

Presbury has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault and battery against a pregnant woman, simple assault-attempt injury, aggravated assault and battery-bodily injury with weapon and domestic assault.

Presbury is currently being held in the Laramie County jail on a $5,000 cash bond. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 31 at 9 a.m.
