Cheyenne Martin Luther King Jr. Day Closures

City, county, state & federal observance of today’s Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, a day of service, will affect the following offices.

City of Cheyenne, Laramie County and federal offices will be closed.

Except for legislature and governor’s office, State of Wyoming offices will be closed. Only express mail will be delivered from an otherwise closed U.S. Post Office.

Busses will not run and The Cheyenne Transit Authority offices will be closed.

Cheyenne-Laramie County Health Department will be closed as will The Cheyenne Veterans Affairs Medical Center. They will however, take on emergency cases.

City of Cheyenne sanitation – Transfer station, compost and landfill closed. Monday’s garbage will be picked up on Saturday, the 17^th.

LCSD1 Schools, library, Cheyenne Aquatic Center, Boys & Girls Club, Cheyenne Housing Authority and Meals On Wheels closed.

Cheyenne Animal Shelter and Cheyenne Family YMCA will be open.
