The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning about the possibility of strong to severe storms on Sunday and Monday.

The agency posted this statement on its website on Sunday morning:

More of the same can be expected over the area today through Monday with good chances for rain, especially in the afternoons and evenings both days. A little more instability may allow for a few strong to severe storms this afternoon and evening, and again Monday, mainly over far southeast Wyoming as well as most of the Nebraska Panhandle. Hail around an inch in diameter and brief strong wind gusts are the primary threats. Otherwise locally heavy rainfall is possible, especially on Monday.
