An annual effort to make sure low income students in Laramie County are able to start the school year equipped for success is underway again with Operation Back To School.

Volunteers are seeking school supply donations for K-12 and college students which will be distributed  on Saturday, Aug. 6 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cheyenne Animal Shelter Community Room at 800 Southwest Drive.

Families needing school supplies should register at Needs, Inc. 900 Central Ave. before August 6.

Donation bins for people to drop off supplies are located at Needs, Inc., LCCC, the Laramie County Library, Laramie County School District#1 Administration Building and F.E. Warren Air Force Base.

Monetary donations can be made by making the checks payable to Needs Inc., Attn: OBTS,
