Cheyenne Police Investigating Car Vandalism Spree

Police are searching for vandals who went around breaking car windows in west Cheyenne overnight.

Officer Kevin Malatesta says at least seven vehicles near Pioneer Park Elementary School had their windows shot out with a BB gun or something similar.

"Of particular usefulness to us would be any video footage that anybody has," said Malatesta.  "If anybody's got cameras on their house that might have caught something suspicious or caught the people in the act of doing this."

Malatesta is asking anyone with video or information on the culprits to call Crime Stoppers Silent Witness at (307) 638-TIPS.  Callers will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
