Cheyenne Ranked Among The ‘Most Charitable’ Cities in America
Cheyenne is the 20th most charitable city in America, according to a new study based on financial contributions, volunteer rates and the number of non-profit organizations.
Statistics show that over half of Wyoming residents donate at least $25 to charities each year.
Nearly 30 percent of Wyoming residents also donate their time to charitable causes, generating nearly $410 million in community service; ranking the Cowboy State 21st nationally.
One of the many great organizations that benefits from that generosity is the Boys and Girls Club of Cheyenne. The list cites a survey of Boys and Girls Club alumni in Cheyenne; 62% of whom say the organization helped "saved their life".
