The trailers create a safe, temporary home-base for at least 65 pets during the first 72 hours after a disaster is declared. These supplies can be used as co-location shelters, where people can evacuate with their pets, as well as emergency animal shelters for displaced animals in the event of a disaster.

You can assist with disaster relief at the Cheyenne Animal Shelter at  http://www.cheyenneanimalshelter.org.

Made possible by donations from the Cheyenne Kennel Club, the Dog Judges Association of America, the Petco Foundation, the Cheyenne Animal Shelter and AKC Reunite.

Now grab some tissues and watch some pet reunions.
