Over 30 exhibitors, ranging from Laramie County Fire District#2 to AMR ambulance service, will be at the 2017 Cheyenne Safe Kids day on May 6 at the Cheyenne Family YMCA.

The annual event is being presented by the Cheyenne Family YMCA, Cheyenne Regional Medical Center and Safe Kids of Laramie County.

It will run from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Victoria Ingerle of Safe Kids Wyoming says each of the 35 vendors will have a fun interactive game for kids that is designed to teach an important safety lesson.

Among the organizations that will be there will be the Cheyenne Municipal Pool, which will have an exhibit on water safety. Laramie County School Disitrict#1, the Cheyenne Children's Clinic, the Cheyenne Family YMCA, and Safe Kids Wyoming will also have displays at the event.

A car safety seat event aimed at making sure child safety seats in vehicles are properly installed will be held in Holliday Park from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in conjunction with Safe Kids Day.
