King Soopers and Loaf 'N Jug will be phasing out plastic bags by 2025, according to a press release from their parent company Kroger. The King Soopers store on Dell Range and all eight Cheyenne area Loaf 'N Jug stores will participate in Kroger's "ZeroHunger | Zero Waste" program.

"Single-use plastic bags have zero place in our vision for a world with zero waste," said Kroger Executive Vice President and COO, Mike Donnelly. "It's a bold move that will better protect our planet for future generations."
