The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is predicting more cool, wet weather for this month.

The agency posted the following statement on its website on Wednesday afternoon:

''The weather has been quite active over the past few weeks, and that pattern is not going away anytime soon. The Climate Prediction Center expects that southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle have a high probability of seeing below normal temperatures and above average precipitation for the 6-10 day outlook (May 27-31).''
