Have you raked up your leaves yet?

The Wyoming wind has been helping to distribute them up against fences and structures, and has blown many of them completely out of the yard, possibly out of the state.

Bag up those remaining leaves and the City of Cheyenne will pick them up on Saturday, November 19, during their annual city-wide leaf pick-up day. The bags will be taken to the Compost Facility on Windmill Road where Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts will help empty the bags of leaves.

We always have to take some wild leaps into the piles of leaves before they make it into the bags, and even try burying each other in the decaying foliage. Then we drag at least a small bags-worth into the house, hidden in our coats and clothing.
