The Circle C gas station on Del Range has a secret. The best tamales I’ve had in Cheyenne. Wait, What? A gas station? Fancy digs do not always mean quality of food. My wife brought some tamales home from the Taqueria Mexicana Mi Tierra on Del Range. They were delicious. With quality cuts of meat in good portions with just the right spice.

I shared one with a coworker, and he said it was the best he had had in town too. So I went back for more and thought I would sample a bit more of their fare and was very pleased with what I got to go. I got a deep fried taco, an enchilada and a smothered tamale. They were all good, at the very least.

You can order to go or eat in (my wife heard they are about to expand inside the gas station.) Sounds weird to say that. But it seems to me that quality food is really what it’s all about and when it comes at a reasonable price with a good attitude, “DING – Ding – ding – ding – WINNER!”

Family run by a pastor with a good crew, Amanda, Raoul and Robert were there when I stopped by, I can’t help but think what a great American success story. I hope they continue to grow and do well. Cheyenne can use authentic Mexican and some good news in the business realm.

307-631-6329 for orders to go, and they will deliver orders for 8 or more.

Here’s to your success, Taqueria Mexicana MI Tierra 314 Dell Range Blvd.

I can’t wait to try their other restaurant at 5300 Bishop Blvd.
