Five more Laramie County residents have died from COVID-19, the Wyoming Department of Health announced Tuesday, bringing the county's death toll to 105.

Department spokeswoman Kim Deti says the deaths involved three older adult women and two older adult men.

Deti says two of the women and one of the men were hospitalized, and the other man was a resident of a local long-term care facility.

She says it's unclear whether one of the hospitalized women had health conditions recognized as putting patients at higher risk of serious illness related to COVID-19, but the other four did.

As of 3 p.m. Tuesday, Laramie County had 60 active lab-confirmed cases, third only to Teton County's 98 cases and Fremont County's 91 cases.
