Denver Ranks High on List of Best Places to Ring in the New Year

You won't have to travel far to find one of the best cities in America to celebrate the arrival of 2018.

Christmas is less than two weeks away, which also means that 2018 will be here in less than three. How? I'm not sure. Time has certainly flown by, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't excited to start a new year with a clean slate.

Now, where should we celebrate?

WalletHub has set out to answer that question for us. They took a look at the "Best Places for New Year's Eve" and compiled their findings in a list from best to worst. Aside from fun activities, they factored everything in like weather forecasts, the legality of fireworks and even the average price of a party ticket. With all of that in mind, New York City still reigns supreme, with Orlando, Atlanta, Los Angeles and San Francisco rounding out the top five.

However, don't overlook a short road trip to Denver.

While cities in Wyoming were completely snubbed on this list, Denver found itself at number 13 on the list. This makes it one of the best cities to celebrate. Colorado Springs came in at number 50, along with Aurora at number 81.
